The Margaret River Community Centre Inc. is situated at 33 Tunbridge Street in what was the old Margaret River Hospital. The complex comprises 8 Heritage listed buildings that represent one of the finest examples of group settlement architecture in the area.

The Centre however is not just a group of old buildings, and following an extensive renovation programme funded by Lotterywest  the complex is an example of excellence in the field of recycling historically important buildings for modern use. Officially opened by the Hon. Paul Omodei MLA in April 1994 the centre has gone from strength to strength.

The Resource Centre offers affordable office and communal space for permanent and casual hires. Equipment such as whiteboards and a screen projector are available on request and the Centre offers fax and photocopy facilities.

Isacc’s Community Art Gallery and the Church Gallery space offer two perfect venues for exhibitions or community gatherings.

Expressions of interest are always open for the Artist in Residence program.  Residency includes a one bedroom self contained apartment with studio space. Nominal rent with workshop and exhibition spaces provided at no cost.

The Centre is completely self-supporting from rental of office and communal space.
Our Tenants include:

The Centre is regularly attended by professionals from the Bunbury Community Legal Centre and South West Community Drug Service Team, and by representatives from PVS Workfind and other employment agencies.
