The number of ringtails is
on the decline as urban expansion continues. They are confined
to peppermint woodlands mostly, areas like around Busselton and
Albany. The expansion of Busselton is removing more of its habitat
and the department of Conservation and Land Management is trying
to improve its conservation status. |
